In addition to a fun night out with food, wine, and swag, the event will also feature a meet-and-greet with award-winning designer Robin Wilson, who will be on hand signing copies of her just-released book, Clean Design: Wellness for Your Lifestyle.
But the best part is that guest will have the chance to design their own FLOR rug using sample carpet tiles. Wilson, along with FLOR employees, will select the top rug design submitted that night. The finalist will receive an 8 x 10 version of their rug design (retail value $900).
FLOR will host similar events at 10 other FLOR store locations across the country, with Wilson attending and judging the sample rugs at all of the locations. The 11 finalists’ rugs will be posted on FLOR.com, where readers will vote for their favorite design. The contest winner (top votes) will get to name their rug and have it included in a future FLOR collection on display at select FLOR stores. In addition, 50 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of that rug will go to a charity of the winner’s choice (in collaboration with FLOR).
