GIVEAWAY: ANNIE at the National Theatre

Posted February 12th, 2016 by Sandie in Entertainment, Giveaways, Theater

ANNIE was my very first vinyl record. I was six years old and the musical was more popular than ever. It had been on a immensely popular national tour, and the movie adaptation had come out and was my very favorite movie. So, my mom bought me the movie soundtrack, and I played it over and over again. It has been my joy as a mother to share my love of musicals like ANNIE with my kids, and I’m THRILLED that the musical is coming to D.C. and that we’re able to give tickets so you can see it too!

Thanks to the generosity of Allied Live, we are giving away two tickets to see ANNIE at the National Theatre in Washington D.C. next month.

I’m not here that night, but it would be GREAT to send my husband + 1 to the show. I just looked at tickets for the whole family when I’m back, but $500 for decent seats, or even $240 for the upper sections really is tough to budget… wish it weren’t so.

When I was little, we used to play Annie, pretending to scrub the floor while we sang It’s a Hard Knock Life. Now my daughter loves Annie. Full circle!

I’d take my 6yo son. We watched the movie a few months ago and he was enchanted! We found an old book at a used bookstore that uses pictures from the movie, so have been reading a few pages of that a night. Only problem is he doesn’t like my singing rendition of “Tomorrow” so I’m sure he’d much prefer to see a professional do that song justice 😉

I have always wanted to see Annie, so this would be great if I could win a couple tickets and take my boyfriend. I’ve heard the song Tomorrow and love it. Please pick me!!!
