Gaylord National ICE!

For the past few years, my family has visited the ICE! exhibit hosted by Gaylord National Resort at the National Harbor. The kids love the themed sculptures, and we’ve even been able to make gingerbread houses and hot cocoa at the Gaylord to make a whole day of our trip to the National Harbor. This year, the Gaylord is offering one lucky DC Moms reader a four-pack of tickets to visit ICE this holiday season, which features Frosty the Snowman.

The Region’s must-see holiday attraction ICE! is back with an exciting new theme featuring Frosty the Snowman. Everyone’s favorite snowman is brought to life in more than two million pounds of colorful ice. Walk thru this classic Christmas story, slide down ice slides over two stories high and watch our artisans as they create these frozen marvels in our special bonus area – The Frostbite Factory – a LIVE ice carving zone. It’s all part of Christmas on the Potomac!

Location: RiverView Terrace, waterfront. Enter the hotel and follow signs to the box office on the Lower Atrium Level. Note: last ticket will be sold 30 minutes before closing time. Note, your tickets are for NON-peak days: November 14, 20, 21, 24, 25: December 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

To enter, just leave a comment telling us why you’d like to go to ICE! with your family.

The past couple of years we have also gone to ice and Michael has loved it!

I’ve never been to ICE! and I think my 4yo would love it! He’s already been talking about making snow angels and a snow man as soon as it snows; this would be like snowmen on overdrive!

I always want to take my boys but for a family of four it can be pricey! We do go to Nation Harbor to check out the beautiful (free) views!

We’ve lived here for 6 years, have never been there and our two little girls would absolutely love it! Big snowman fans.

Thanks for the giveaway…and the blog in general!

My mom and I shared the same birthday, December 16th, and it always made my birthday feel extra special. Two years ago on Thanksgiving mom died of cancer and was buried on December 17th. I haven’t really enjoyed my birthday lately and I think being able to treat my girls and husband to a great experience close to my birthday might be nice. Thank you
